As part of its expansion programmed in the UK, Systancia is looking for a Channel pre-sales engineer. The position will mainly cover work in the areas of London and Reading/Oxford. 

Position

You will work with a Channel sales engineer to provide assistance to integrator and reseller partners for our products

Your duties will consist of:

• assisting in the creation of sales proposals
• auditing client/prospect environments and suggesting options for architectures incorporating the AppliDis solution, making recommendations on server configuration, high-availability solutions, etc.
• devising and presenting solutions and plans for migrating competing applications to the AppliDis solution
• producing proofs of concept, mockups and prototypes which use the AppliDis solution with the client/prospect's requirements in mind
• offering expert input on issues relating to virtualisation of complex applications in co-ordination with Systancia's production and support teams
• acting as a technological reference point for sales engineers

Required skills

With a technical training in information technology (3/5 years at higher education level), and strong commercial instincts, you will have had a successful initial spell in an equivalent position in the software, services and IT products pre-sales sector working for a software publisher, an integrator, a reseller or an IT manufacturer.

Technical certification on similar or identical products, or on Microsoft technologies, would be an advantage.
