Virtualisation and cloud computing

IT departments must meet growing companies’ expectations while reducing infrastructure costs.

However, most IT departments struggle to meet those expectations due to costly and complex infrastructures, onto which those applications and services are deployed.

To meet those needs, Cloud Computing offers a more efficient, flexible and cost-effective model by offering IT as a service.

What is Cloud Computing ?

Cloud Computing enables easy on-demand network access to a pool of shared and configurable computing resources as a service to multiple users. The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) gave a definition, which is often quoted as a reference:  « Cloud Computing is a new way to deliver IT resources, and not a new technology.».

Those resources can be delivered quickly with very little administrative work or interaction (or even none) with the service provider. Depending on a company's approach and needs, this offer can be provided by a third party company, a cloud service provider (Public Cloud) or by the company's IT department who uses Private (or Hybrid) Cloud offers.

The Private Cloud, which is often requested by CTOs, combines the flexibility and benefits of the Cloud in terms of cost with enhanced security and service delivery, thanks to an internal infrastructure.

Systancia’s approach

We offer technological solutions, such as application and desktop virtualisation, which are compatible with market standards and with the different Cloud Service Models.

We are currently working on specific Cloud Computing tools to ease our clients' migration process to a Cloud infrastructure. For instance, AppliDis MyApps, which is a set of virtualised applications, offers a simple and innovative solution for companies who want to set up a Private Cloud, and allows them to deliver applications according to their users' needs and expectations.
